 Geaux Corportion proudly introduces the Cumberland Gap (Ltd.P) Development in south Tyler. This project contains 423.9 acres. It is with great excitement that we announce our groundbreaking for Phase I of the development.
Designed by Rea Boudreaux of the Brannon Corporation, our development contains 115 acres of commercial sites, educational acreage for a new elementary school planned to serve 800 students, a 480-unit apartment complex, over 600 single family homes, and an expansion of the historic Smith Cenetery to include an additional 27,000 burial plots. the entire site encompasses over 19,550 linear feet of water and sewer lines. The extension of west Cumberland road will cross the property with a 5-lane boulevard.
Once final approval is given, an announcement will be made about the groundbreaking of Tyler's newest elementary school. The leadership of the Tyler city government and the vision of Tyler ISD's Board of Directors have opened a new avenue for learning and growth to serve the needs of our next generation.
